As a member of Dr. Sean Lawler’s laboratory at Brown, Jasmine Clark focused her research on the investigation of the effects of drugs on chemosensitivity and blood brain barrier permeability for treatment of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma(DIPG). On April 14th, 2026 Jasmine successfully defended herPhD thesis entitled “Breaking Barriers: Evaluating GSK-3 Inhibition as a Dual Therapeutic Strategy in Diffuse Midline Glioma Models" Afterward, Jasmine enjoyed a celebration on campus with her Advisor, Dr. Sean Lawler, and Brown students, faculty and staff.
