On Friday, April 10, 2026, Pier Paolo Peruzzi, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, delivered a seminar presentation as part of this semester’s seminar series titled “RNA Medicine for Glioblastoma.”
Dr. Peruzzi’s talk discussed the current limits of therapies for glioblastoma and examined how a revisitation of RNA biology may help overcome these challenges.
In addition, Dr. Peruzzi presented an ongoing clinical trial aimed at accelerating the clinical validation of experimental RNA therapies in patients with high‑grade gliomas.
The seminar took place from 12:00–1:00 pm in BM Facilities Auditorium Room 107 at 70 Ship Street. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to engage with Dr. Peruzzi in discussion, asking questions about the challenges of RNA therapeutics, clinical trial design, and future directions for glioblastoma research.
Seminars like these provide an important forum for faculty and trainees to examine emerging approaches at the intersection of basic science and clinical care, fostering dialogue that advances innovation in patient‑centered research.
Thank you to all who participated in this seminar.
