Therapeutic Sciences Graduate Program

I am a MD, PhD, student in the Therapeutic Sciences Graduate Program at Brown University. My research focuses on developing new cancer immunotherapies targeting tumor-associated proteins derived from transposable elements, with a particular emphasis on LINE-1 ORF1p. My work combines cancer biology, immunology, protein engineering, and drug development to explore new therapeutic strategies and tools for studying ORF1p. Before beginning graduate training, I conducted research in nanomedicine and drug delivery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MD Anderson Cancer Center and am currently in my 7th year of studying translational cancer biology.
